Some types of fluids will leave a residue in the mechanism of the dispenser and in time will cause the pumping unit to become sluggish or sticky. An occasional cleaning by flushing the mechanism thoroughly with warm soapy water (110° F. maximum temperature) will remove residue and return the unit to original efficiency.
